1986, Founded by Mr. Yves Gervais, Équipements Motorisés les Chutes specializes in the sale and repair of new and used motorized equipment.
1995, Equipements Motorisés les Chutes becomes a Kawasaki dealership.
2008, Acquisition of the neighboring house, thereby doubling the area of our showroom.
In 2010, a brand new clothing store was opened on the second floor.
Since 2011, we have the privilege of being the only Husqvarna motorcycle dealer in Mauricie.
In 2014, we had one of the largest Kawasaki delegations present at the Provincial Motocross Championship, with more than 20 active riders. Throughout our participation in this prestigious championship, several of our riders have distinguished themselves and reached the first position on the podium for all motocross classes.
2018, Marc Ménard becomes the owner of Équipements Motorisés les Chutes.
2022, Équipements Motorisés les Chutes becomes MVM motosport and serves its customers in a brand new building, located at the corner of boulevards Hubert-Biermans and Royal. The move allows the facilities to expand considerably, going from an area of 2,500 to more than 15,000 square feet. This major change is possible thanks to the association of Marc Ménard and the Vincent family at the helm of Groupe Vincent car dealerships in Mauricie. Together, they are investing three million dollars in Shawinigan to acquire a state-of-the-art space with optimized energy efficiency, in order to be one of the largest in Mauricie
A new name and a rejuvenated brand: MVM motosport. “We wanted to mark the evolution of Equipements les Chutes with a new identity. With MVM motosport, we want to assert ourselves with more personality in our field: motor sports. We want to offer a lively, inspiring, fun brand that stands out” - Marc Ménard
New brands such as KTM, CFMoto, Addly and Widescape are being added to the distribution offer and discussions are underway with other manufacturers.
